Our 25kg bags of Brown De-icing Rock Salt, also known as road grit, are a reliable and effective solution for keeping paths, driveways, and roads safe during winter. This raw, indigenous product is traditionally used by local authorities across the UK for de-icing and gritting applications. Mined in the UK and Ireland, this high-quality rock salt contains 5-8% naturally occurring grit particles (insolubles) and conforms to BS3247:2011, the British Standard for de-icing salt.
