3-Point Embedded Sensor for Real-Time Concrete Strength and Temperature Monitoring
The Maturix® Nova Split is a robust, embeddable wireless sensor designed to monitor in-place concrete temperature, maturity, and strength across multiple points. It features one sensor in the device body and two additional sensors on extended cables (1.5m and 3m), allowing for comprehensive insights at varying depths within concrete pours.
Engineered for simplicity, the Nova Split activates automatically when the cable tip is detached, measuring temperature every 15 minutes and storing data internally for up to 90 days. With its durable, impact-resistant housing and three mounting points, it can be easily secured to reinforcement bars for reliable, long-term use.
Using the free Maturix® app on Android and iOS, data can be retrieved wirelessly via Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) and shared instantly with site teams and stakeholders. By providing real-time temperature, maturity, and strength information, the Nova Split helps reduce reliance on traditional concrete specimens and enables up to 30–50% faster formwork removal.
