Trace water flow with ease

Drain Tracing Dye is a water-soluble dye used to identify the direction and path of water flow in drainage systems, pipes, and sewers. This dye is an essential tool for plumbers, civil engineers, and maintenance teams needing to trace water movement through complex pipe networks or detect leaks and connections.

To use, simply dissolve the required amount of dye into approximately five litres of clean water and introduce it into the flow or reservoir. Once dispersed, the vibrant colour enables easy visual tracking through water systems. A single 200g jar is capable of tinting up to 15,000 litres (approximately 3,300 gallons) of clean water, depending on clarity. If used with dirty or murky water, a higher concentration may be necessary for visibility.

Available in a range of colours—blue, yellow, red, green, and purple—this dye is ideal for a wide variety of applications, including environmental testing, system inspections, and drainage diagnostics.
