Its spacious surface area and high absorbency make it the go-to solution for high-volume spill risks in demanding construction and infrastructure environments.
At its core lies Soliditex® Technology – an innovative, patent-pending composite engineered to offer unmatched containment performance. By rapidly transforming oils and fuels into a solid mass through horizontal and vertical wicking, Soliditex® ensures maximum polymer-to-contaminant contact and eliminates the risk of liquid migration or layer separation. The result is a cleaner, safer working environment with no uncontrolled mat swelling.
This advanced technology is protected by a UV-stable top mesh that can handle the wear and tear of busy sites, while the integrated loops make handling, positioning, and storage straightforward. Water-repelling properties ensure that the substrate doesn’t hold moisture, further optimising absorption efficiency.
With an absorbency capacity of up to 24 litres, the PlantMat® - Large is perfect for use under medium to large generators, plant vehicles, bowsers, or during major hose repairs. It is fully compatible with the Large Plant Nappy (2000mm x 1370mm), providing an additional layer of defence against spills in environmentally sensitive zones.
