100x175mm Heavy-Duty Build-In Masonry Hanger
The 100x175mm Masonry Joist Hanger is a build-in type support engineered for fixing timber joists into brickwork or blockwork walls. Designed for structural integrity, this hanger is manufactured from 2.0mm thick pre-galvanised steel and complies with BS EN 845-1 standards. Ideal for use in domestic and commercial builds, it provides a secure and durable solution for floor and roof joist support.
To allow for joist notching and regularisation, hangers 150mm deep and over are produced 10mm less than their nominal size. This makes the internal depth of this hanger 165mm, ensuring a proper fit. Its wide top flange ensures better load distribution across masonry with a compressive strength of 3.5 N/mm² or above.
Featuring a 75mm bearing surface and pre-punched gussets for nail fixing with 30 x 3.75mm sheradised square twist nails, this hanger is a reliable, regulation-compliant choice for building professionals.
